At SAM I run the Future Catholic Teachers club. I am also the OCSAA Plan: Catholic Identify Representative and SAM’s Better Together Inclusion Coordinator.

About Me

Hi, my name is Mrs. Rachel Rhein and I am a 1st grade teacher here at St. Angela Merici Parish School.

I have been teaching since 2008 and I have been at SAM since 2013. I absolutely love teaching first grade! The amount of growth from the beginning of the school year to the end, for each student, is truly remarkable. I met my husband Matt while attending college at the University of Dayton. We live in Lakewood and spend most of our time trying to entertain and keep up with our two little girls, Addie and Mia.

I attended The University of Dayton (go Dayton Flyers!) where I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education.
