About Me

Hi, my name is Mrs. Lisa Whelan and I am the Upper School Principal here at St. Angela Merici Parish School.

I grew up in Rocky River. I graduated from St. Angela’s and Magnificat High School.

I have three children, Jack, Caitlin and Ryan, who also graduated from SAM!

I became the Upper School Principal at SAM in 2016. Prior to that, I taught for over 20 years, 18 of them at SAM.

My Education

I attended Bowling Green University where I earned my degree in Education and I have my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Notre Dame College.
