About Me

Hi, my name is Mrs. Lindsey Close and I am a 3rd grade teacher here at St. Angela Merici Parish School.

I grew up in Rocky River, Ohio where I attended St. Christopher School and for high school I went to Rocky River High School.

I teach religion, language arts, math and social studies. I have been teaching for 15 years — all at St. Angela’s.

I love spending time with my friends and family. My husband and I were married at St. Angela Merici Church, and our daughter has attended SAM since preschool.

My Education

I attended Ohio University and earned my degree in Early Childhood Education and then earned my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Literacy from Ashland University.

What do you love about SAM

I love being part of such a wonderful school family. I feel so lucky to be surrounded by such amazing teachers, administrators & staff. I love spending my days with such wonderful students, and working as a team with their families.

At SAM I work with our PPC (Positive Power Crew) Club, Girls on the Run and Sunshine Committee. I am a Team Lead, a Mentor Teacher and a Eucharistic Minister.
